ABOUT MILLER FRISHMAN GROUP
After the real estate contraction of the 1980s, Miller Frishman Group principals Andrew Miller and David Frishman, along with partner John Sevo, combined their years of real estate experience to form Sevo Miller, Inc. The company performed real estate workouts for some of the biggest financial institutions in America, including savings and loans, major credit companies and the Resolution Trust Company (RTC) as well as buyers of distressed real estate. Clients included GE Capital, American Savings, Columbia Savings, Carlisle Group, and many defunct and/or supervised savings and loans, among others.
In 1990 the partners also began buying properties for their own account, acquiring commercial and multifamily properties of all types in major cities throughout the U.S., as well as financing and syndicating those properties. Over the last 18 years, their acquisitions have included 25,000 apartment units and several million feet of commercial, industrial and office space in multiple states.
The company has sponsored acquisitions in excess of $500 million dollars, consistently producing above-market returns for their own accounts and for numerous third-party institutional, partnership, and individual clients and investors.
